When scale is adhering to the heat exchanger of a cooling tower, cooling efficiency is greatly reduced, resulting in wasteful consumption of electricity. Since many conventional water treatment preparations are based on organic phosphorous compounds, they cause eutrophication in river and sea water and contaminate to the environment they are discharged.

PA-WT-CB-001 works differently from conventional organic chemicals; it uses a unique soluble amorphous chemical composed mainly of inorganic components only (components that originally exist on Earth) to chemically coagulate scale components and drains the resulting sludge from the lowest part of the cooling tower. An outstanding next-generation environmentally-friendly water treatment preparation, it is capable of efficiently and safely removed silica scale that is especially difficult to deal with and blocks heat transfer.

A one-time dosing of product can provide scale removal and prevention and its effects last for approximately 6 months. When complement with our antibacterial agent, they can prevent legionella bacterial and algae growth. A further combination with our auto blow-down system that removes water from the lowest part of the cooling tower, the water quality in the system can be kept in excellent condition with almost no maintenance.

The waste water is NOT harmful, and can be safely recycled for multiple purposes, including sanitary usage, agriculture watering and domestic cleaning application.
